I have inherited an african grey from a friend who is ill. She's had him 15 years. I bought a new ladder for his cage and he refuses to go near it. Should I take it out or will he accept it eventually? I want this transition to be as stress free as possible.
My 8month old alexandrine parakeet is losing his leg grip while climbing height
What is some bird cage recommendation for 2 parakeet at the lowest price available, or if by any chance a free unwanted bird cage at nyc., Thank you
Dear you A pigeon is in our yard that he has a leg problem. Actually his toes are curling. He is absolutely well(eats and fly well) and I can't get him simply. What can I do for him? Thank you very much
My African grey spending a lot of time in the bottom of his cage and seems to struggle standing on one leg while eating
Suggest a online site for budgie toys so that my budgie can play with it
Can I take a shower with a Amazon Parrot? What temperature range water is safe? Do I need to give them a cuttle cone? What to chew one? How often do I have to take them for beak/wing/nail trim? What size cage? It would probably be out a lot because I am home most every day. Only gone on Fridays. I want a bird that can do almost everything with me and not too small. About a medium bird? Any recommend birds? I’ve never had a bird but I know a few people that have birds. Right food? (See pic) thx!
Hello, my love bird is 12 years old and has been walking with a limped toe. He’s also been sleeping a lot and acting very weak to the point where he doesn’t fly anymore or talk as much.. please let me know what is wrong? Thank you
Our 34 yr old amazon parrot is having issues with her feet. How would she be evaluated to check for arthritis. She is having a bit of trouble staying on her perches at times. She falls to the bottom of the cage but I also see her climb around her cage upside down quite often daily. Thanks for the help.
My bird is acting strange she eats in very quick flies to her water and sits over it and poops then splashes and makes a mess then she gets out and puts a foot on one toy while the other is on another toy she stands there for a long time and then falls.
I had a pigeon, just one, come back to my feeder for about a year now, i had found it injured in my lawn, assuming its a broken wing with feathers sticking out (dont know much about birds) but since it has been dedicated to my house i wanna treat it and was curious on prices... Just a section of wing seems misplaced and it seems to keep laying on its side ( keeping it in a pretty big Tupperware with alot of cloth liner) also eyes keep blinking i would assume pain?
Can you name some very exciting treats for birds? I've been trying to connect with my bird for a while now, I've had him for two months, but he still doesn't trust me. I was hoping to get him to like me with some treats.
