Another exciting accessory is the JW Pet Invincible Chains rubber dog toy, which may be perfect for medium to large dogs who want a game of good old-fashioned tug of war. The grippy texture makes sure both you and your dog can maintain a good hold.
JW Pet also has fun solutions for birds. The JW Pet Company Insight ActiviToys line has many options for your winged pet. There’s a Hall of Mirrors accessory that your feathered friend can dance and preen in, and Ring Clear bird toys that have fun bell attachments for your pet to have fun with.

Congratulations on your new pets! Lovebirds can live between 10-15 years if properly cared for. You should have several perches of different diameters and materials in their cage, a cuttlebone to keep their beaks trimmed, and some toys that are variable (some destructible toys such as crinkle paper are okay as well). You can also offer some leafy greens and fruits/veggies. I hope this helps and am happy to answer any other questions you may have!

It is not uncommon for birds to chew at one particular spot on a perch. It looks like you have a number of wooden dowel perches in the cage - you could try to vary these by providing Manzanita wood perches (they look more like branches) and this may provide them with some areas that they can clean their beaks and wear their nails as well. For your question about the food dishes - it is very common for birds to only utilize materials (including food, water, toys, and perches) that are at the top of their cage. The reason for this is that they typically live in the trees, so they like to be high up the majority of the time. I would advise removing the dishes that are down low, and only providing dishes high in the cage. You can still provide multiple dishes if desired, in case you have some competition for food among the birds in the family. I hope that answers your questions, and thanks for using Boop by Petco!

Hello. All birds should have fresh food and water changed every day. Clean the cage about once a week or more often as needed based on size of cage and mess produced. Tap water may be fine to give depending on your water source, so check with your municipality about that. If in doubt, offer bottled water. Feed about 65-75% complete pellets like ZuPreem or Roudybush, and the rest can be fresh veggies, some seed, and nuts. Have Tweety examined by an avian vet at least once a year for wellness, since catching problems early gives the best chance of successful treatment. Avian vets are listed at aav.org. Good luck!

What a cute name. The toyslook great to me. You are 100% correct that birds will regurgitate on things to mark them. It is a sign of marking you. However it takes time for bird to feel safe. Just keep doing what you are doing and give to a little more time.

Thank you for using Boop by Petco! Depending on the type of bird you are planning to get, a more social environment may be best. I would also recommend considering proximity to the kitchen in your home as well as lighting in the room. It’s best to keep the bird in a room further from the kitchen to avoid potentially toxic fumes and in a room that does not get too hot or cold during the day. It is always best to acclimate birds slowly to their new environment. I hope all is well with your new pet!
