Easy to clean wood surface, leaves smooth texture.

The very first time using this, the bristles bent making it useless to scrub perches; and I wasn't even scrubbing hard! Not even worth the $5.99 listed!! I'll just get a wire brush from the hardware store.

I got this like a week ago to keep my lovebirds stands and lathers nice and clean, it helps a lot, remove most of the bird's poop... but for a better cleaning I like to wipe of whatever this can’t take off!!!

Bought 1 of these thinking it would help clean parrot perches BUT the perches I use for my Amazon parrots are too thick/large & the tiny,thin little metal bristles inside the plastic blue hand grip ended up tearing/scratching my hands more than it cleaned any part of those perches! I believe the scrubber would be more suited for cleaning thin wooden perches such as those for a parakeet or even a cockatiel.Large perches finally flattened the thin metal bristles+I wasn't going to rip the skin under any nails I have left trying to straighten them back up.

I believe that all bird owners should own one of these. This definitely works on most perches even larger ones because you can use it flat. I use this on wooden platform perches and other natural perches. Others have said it is hard to hold but I don't think so but that may be because I have small hands. I recommend getting this and the So Phresh Bird Habitat Cleaning Brush.

The bowl is a green color and much larger than the original metal bowl. The bowl holds more food so less changing out for fresh food but more importantly our conure is much more comfortable and feeds easier. Highly recommend.
