Cat puzzle toys and treat dispensing toys are essential for any feline household. These innovative toys not only provide hours of entertainment but also stimulate your cat’s mind, enhancing their cognitive skills. Puzzle toys challenge cats to solve problems to access hidden treats or toys, encouraging natural hunting and foraging behaviors. Treat dispensing toys add an extra layer of excitement by rewarding your cat’s efforts with their favorite snacks. By incorporating these engaging toys into your cat's routine, you can help prevent boredom and reduce unwanted behaviors caused by lack of mental stimulation.
Treats can be excellent motivation for felines who aren’t naturally inclined to play with toys. However, most pet parents look for a cat treat dispenser toy that isn’t too easy to solve, as it might provide your feline with excess food instead of a challenge.
When choosing a cat feeder toy or interactive cat treat dispenser, pick one that is challenging and that your pet can’t outsmart. Many kitties can spend less time solving the puzzle that provides an appropriate amount of food and more time breaking into the main food container to eat at will. Finding a puzzle feeder with a secure food container and challenging brainteasers is best.

I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
I crate my puppy (6 mos old) during the day with a 20-30 minute potty break midday (until she’s old enough to be left out in the house). I want to leave a treat puzzle to keep her occupied but I don’t put water in her crate since she gets plenty the rest of the day and it takes up so much space and usually ends up spilled. Is it mean to give her a treat puzzle toy that typically makes her thirsty without immediate access to water?
Hello! Might you have any advice on what I can use to hide my cats pills in? He's difficult to pill and he doesn't like greenies pill pockets. Thank you
Made dog a treat dispenser from 1 water bottle. Normal plastic bottle with a hole on the side. I filled it with dog biscuits and then used a hot knife to make the hole ( with the biscuits inside.) I'm concerned if the biscuits are safe to eat.
My puppy refuses to eat from her bowl. This has been an issue for a few weeks. Initially we thought she didn't like the kibble so we transitioned her onto a new one that is mixed with the old and she ate that happily for two days then stopped. Well now she'll eat the food as long as it's on the floor not in a bowl. She likes it scattered around her exercise pen. My concern is she's not eating enough through the day. Is something like a food puzzle worth trying for her every meal?
My cat only likes toys with some type of string but then he chews thru them and won’t play with them anymore. What type of toys would be best?
ok so my cat eats silly and often dangerous things he is also fussy about the foods he will eat, ive tried everything i can find to get him to stop he has a massive play centre, puzzle treat dispensers, more toys than he could ever play with, food an water all over the place, he only likes spending time with me we got another cat for some company for him but had to rehome it because he bullied it non-stop. I just dont know what to do everything ive read says it stress but nothing works...
Looking for a good chew toy for Jasper,we were giving him the purina dental chewz but now it seems like he is eating them to fast, tried a few different ones but don't seem to last, any suggestions?
Will my 6 month old kitten grow out of playing in her litter box? It's so unsanitary. We got her a tower recently that she doesn't even touch, plus lots of boxes for her to play in. How can I get her to use cat tower more? Feliway doesn't seem to work.
Hello. I have two cats. One likes to play with balls and chase small toys; whereas the other one only likes to play with pointers. I have read some opinions against this way to entertain the cats because they argue that it can stress the animals and generate anxiety when they don't receive rewards for their actions. I would like to hear an authorized opinion. Thanks!
Hello, we have a cat we got as a stray kitten. She had always been slightly over weight but recently she has become addicted to her kibble. She eats for hours constantly. We have to free feed due to our schedules and our other cat will only graze throughout the day. We already only feed them with a cat tree or with treat balls to make it more challenging. But now she will not leave her food for anything. We’re at a loss.
My cat eats her food really fast and drinks water extremely fast then goes and throws up. If I give her a small treat she will scarf it down and then goes and throws up. Every time she does this it's the morning and she will throw up more than once. She purposely eats a lot and then drinks a lot. Would a slow feeding bowl work?
