Can the ball be taken out of the track? My cats always loose the balls.
- Hi Jenna109. Good day! you can remove the ball from the track with some force (requires bending the plastic portion slightly) – however the track was designed for the ball that is inside, and is not intended to be removed/replaced. Thanks,

One of the reasons I bought this toy because it said the scratch pad is "replaceable". But if I can't buy it, now what??? My cats love this toy and have destroyed the mat!

Where does the cat nip herb go?
- Under the sisal pad. You could probably pour it on top and even inside if you really wanted -- though it would be messy. My cat started playing with the item before I added it so I haven't yet.

Does the plastic ball flash?
- No, it does have some plastic beads in it which are pretty loud when it gets batted around but my cat loves the noise.
