what makes this a cat toy vs. suitable for a small dog? I have the same thing for my 10 pd dog but the whole is big and I can only use larger treats. Is the hole on this smaller, allowing me to use small training treats?

Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. How do I make a kitten understand how a Kong toy works? I've already tried spraying it with catnip so that she plays with it and understands that when she moves it, treats fall out of it. But she seems not to be atracted to catnip yet as she's still too young. Any tips? Thank you!
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
