Fresh food and water should always be available to your bird using parakeet feeders and waterers. Petco offers a variety of bowls, feeders and waterers for your parakeet—choose from covered feeders that can help reduce spillage or gravity feeders to help keep the contents clean and easily accessible or opt for standard bowls. Whichever container you choose, safely secure it so that your bird cannot knock it over. Keep spray millet off the ground reducing the chance of droppings contaminating it with specialized clips and holders for spray millet. Choosing the right accessories for your bird's habitat will not only help prevent contamination of their food and water, but can help make your life a little easier as well.
There are many different designs—from open bowls to covered crocks or gravity feeders—to choose from. Food and water dishes should be able to be secured to the habitat or specially designed to prevent it from falling over to prevent contamination whenever possible.
Covered bowls will help reduce spillage and mess, as well as help keep the contents clean from dander or droppings.

What toys are the best for parakeets
Is it Ok for parakeets to drink herbal non-caffeine tea if diluted (50%) with their drinking water? Thanks!!!!!!
I just bought 2 parakeets and it has been about 20 hours that they have not eaten nor drank. what should I do?
So, I've noticed that my parakeet has been drinking a lot more water recently, his droppings are therefore watery, and the feathers over his nares are colored a dark brown/red. My online search has been unsuccessful in finding what this might be, as he still seems lively and is eating normally. What should I do?
My parakeets bottom is puffy and swollen., beek in feathers a lot, sleeps, watery stools.
How do i tame my parakeets
I have 2 parakeets and I have been feeding them seeds and millet. I believe that what I am currently feeding them is not nutritious. I am currently training them to eat fruit and vegetables and to be hand tamed. I would like to know what food can I buy for them so they can eat nutritious and I can take my time training them.
I have a parakeet I haven't seen it drink any water it's breathing kind of heavy it's a baby I've had it for about a month
Can I take a shower with a Amazon Parrot? What temperature range water is safe? Do I need to give them a cuttle cone? What to chew one? How often do I have to take them for beak/wing/nail trim? What size cage? It would probably be out a lot because I am home most every day. Only gone on Fridays. I want a bird that can do almost everything with me and not too small. About a medium bird? Any recommend birds? I’ve never had a bird but I know a few people that have birds. Right food? (See pic) thx!
Hi, I have 2 parakeets, Cookie and Pickle, one a fancy parakeet, and one a green parakeet. They have been with me for almost two weeks, and the problem is, I can't get them to eat fruits and veggies. I can hand feed them and get them on my finger, but they won't eat any fruits and veggies. I've also tried putting it in their food bowl, which also doesn't work. Do you have any ideas?
How do those plastic parakeet nest boxes work? Do parakeets like to use them to lay their eggs? I have four pairs of parakeets and want tho try one to avoid re-purchasing over and over again. Your thoughts?
