The Howls

Hi we adopted a Chihuahua mix we have had him a little over a week. He is showing signs of severe anxiety, he howls if he can't see us. Also sometimes howls when my husband leaves for work. I go back to work this next Monday. We crate him when we are not here due to potty training work. He is 5 yrs old. He howls the entire we are gone. When we get home he's exhausted. Any tips on how to help him cope?

My cat howls at night, he is 15 years old, and he only howls when he is in the bathroom, and only at night, one of the places that we have food an water. There seems to be no reason for him to howl, he has food and water, we had him checked for UTI. He does have kidney disease.

17 yo male cat goes outdoors during summer recently began demanding more food. Loss of teeth so eats wet food. Howls at night and sometimes during day. Increased urination (I think, as it's been cold outside not going out) howls at midnight, 0500,1700 for food. Skittish. Thank you

There are at least a dozen dogs in my neighborhood, but mine is the only one that howls when he hears a siren. Even my other dog doesn't. Why does the sound disturb him and how can I help him?

Hi, I have a 11 months old male cat. He is very adorable but lately he started going out and fights with other street cats.He became very aggressive and howls a lot if we don't let him out. We never let him out since he was small but lately his behaviour is haunting us.Late nights meow's howls ,fighting with other cats and ost important disturbing neighbours. My question is will neutering him will stop this behaviour? Will he be at home after neutering?

For the last 9 - 10 month, my 11 year old neutered cat has been eating more and more. He isn't gaining weight or losing it. He howls when he wants more food. I offer wet and dry food. He will eat some dry food but mostly wet.

My new puppy howls and barks like crazy when in her crate. She bites the door and tries to rip it open. She only does this when the door is closed. If it’s open she will go in by herself sometimes to eat or get a toy. How do I stop the barking and howling when she’s in there with the door shut?

my hound howls when i go out, hes causing problems and need to know how to keep him quiet. I can''t afford to hire a trainer and hes usually good when not alone. the only choices i can see is for him to find a new home or try a bark collar, the neighbours are harassing us and my wife is getting very stressed and thats not good because of an illness.
