My dog ripped two medium sized holes in his self cooling mat (brand is “unleashed”) and I’m sure he digested some of the gel, exactly how much I do not know. They advertise that it is nontoxic, but idk if I should be worried or not?
My 7 yr old dog has separation anxiety issues. My Veterinarian recommended trying OTC Melatonin 3mg. Can someone recommend a particular brand of OTC Melatonin to purchase? I'm afraid Xylitol made be an ingredient that is not disclosed on the package. I contacted Natures Made. I was told No Xylitol in the Melatonin.
I'm planning to travel with both dogs. Sharpei is registered as ESA. I have a small crate for my maltipoo. Anything I can do to ease their flight experience and get them ready besides calming supplements? Boo has a habit of drooling and his gums turning pale when he's in a crate. How can I prevent that? This is their first time flying . (I already have calming supplements) also, how many hours before the flight should I give the water and food? It should I wait afterwards.
In about the week I am going on a road trip with Sarah and my dad's to Border Collie mixes one of them is a senior the other is borderline obese. The only one that's made this road trip before is the senior but she has developed anxiety involving train tracks cattle guards and road trips in general since the last time she went. I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?

Had my dog spayed today. Brought her home and she has been laying around. When she got up their was quite a bit of blood in the blanket, she has moved around a few times and each time there are new spots of blood. She has only gotten in and out of the car and gone outside on leash to urinate and had a small BM. Is this much bleeding normal? The stain in the picture is about 7 in by 4 in
