It can be normal for some dogs to be picky eaters, especially if they are rewarded with human food if they wait long enough. It is not normal however for Yuki to be losing weight. I would recommend seeing your veterinarian to rule out a medical problem first - if she seems otherwise healthy you can then discuss trying to find a commercial dog food that she likes (canned food might be an option), or discuss talking to a nutritionist to formulate a balanced home cooked diet.

Frequently changing food can create finicky eaters. Choose one good quality food and stick with it. Do not offer treats or table food at all until Snowie eats her regular diet. Begin a consistent feeding schedule. Prepare her food and leave it down for 20-30 minutes before picking it up, eaten or not. Repeat this at the next feeding. Do not feed anything in between meals. provide fresh water at all times. You can warm the food slightly to stimulate her appetite. Snowie will not starve herself. She will eat her own food if that is the only option given to her. Right now, she has trained you to feed her what she wants, when she wants. Be firm and be consistent an she will change.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Aww! I understand your feelings but Halley is still very young. Animals can be fickle especially cats. I would continue spending time with her and offer treats. Call her to sit on your lap. Also watch closely to signs she’s getting annoyed: slight flicking of ears, tail wagging that would indicate she doesn’t like how she is being pet. It is just as possible she’ll go back to showing you more attention. I wish you the best!

Moki is playing you, as long as you will give in and provide him what he wants there is no chance he will ever eat dog food, but you need to not give up and not to give him any human food. broth is a big no no, human food is in most cases not suitable and balance to your dog. sure you can compensate with vitamins but it will make your life much harder.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! If you are talking about the skin around her eye, I wouldn’t be worried. It looks like her normal skin coloring. The other eye has brown pigment around it instead of pink. If the whites of the globe of her eyes are pink you can try rinsing the eyes with saline solution- you may have gotten hair in them. If they continue to stay pink or you notice her scratching I would see an emergency vet to look for a scratch. Delaying treatment could make things worse and be more costly to treat. Good luck and kisses to Pixi!
