Finding a reliable brand of entertaining toys for your feline friend can be a challenge. You want high-quality and durable supplies that your cat will find amusing and engaging. Petlinks cat toys can be a great option for pet parents looking for a wide selection of wands, plush animals, scratchers and catnip to help their felines get regular exercise.
Playing together can be a great way for cats and their parents to bond while getting quality mental and physical stimulation. Teaser wands made by Petlinks are made from natural and pet-safe materials so that you can focus on fun with your pet instead of worrying about the quality of your cat toy. And if you’ve ever been jealous watching dog parents playing at the park, Petlinks cat toys like Feather Flippers or launchers can make for a terrific game of fetch with your kitty. Of course, a simple plush toy can often be enough to help kick off playtime with you and your cat, and many of the plush toys made by Petlinks make enticing sounds—from crinkling to realistic bird sounds—to attract your pet’s attention further.
Some cats need exercise and play most when you’re not at home to help keep them from getting lethargic. Electronic toys for cats can be a great option when you’re away from home or for times when you’re a little too busy to play. At Petco, we carry numerous Petlinks motion toys—like electronic wands, spinner toys, roller toys and the Petlinks Mystery Motion toy—that can help keep your feline engaged and entertained for long periods.
Petlinks also offers solutions for the most basic, instinctive feline form of play—scratching. Often scratching is how cats express emotions, mark their territory and maintain their nails, but most pet parents know how frustrating the effect can be on household furniture. A Petlinks cat scratcher can help give your couch a break and let your kitty release some pent-up energy at the same time. You can choose from fun shapes like a traditional scratching post, scratch ramps, door hangers, curls or mats. Or check out the Petlinks Dream Curl—a uniquely shaped, multi-surface scratcher that offers different styles of interaction to help entertain your feline. A Petlinks cat scratcher can help frustrated pet parents reduce the damage commonly associated with restless feline friends.
While many of them may look average, many of these Petlinks cat toys and scratchers come with their unique blend of catnip to help encourage exercise in your feline. HappyNip is a combination of catnip and silvervine that can be more potent and purer than other varieties—like their more standard Pure Bliss organic catnip that lacks the silvervine. You can find these proprietary blends on toys, scratchers and even paper bag caverns, as well as in traditional shredded and spray forms. All of Petlinks’ catnip has been inspected to ensure that it doesn’t contain chemicals or pesticides.

Some cats are happy with companionship and aren't interested in play. I’ve had luck with using a laser pointer to see if he’ll chase it. You can also try putting treats on a cat tree to get him to climb up and be active. You can also train cats to come when called, beg, sit, shake etc just like a dog. This is done with treats and praise as rewards and takes lots of time. The training should be fun for you both and is good bonding and quality time together. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for your cat.

I do not know where this information comes from but cats will just lose interest if they get frustrated. Even got cats it is not always about actually catching something for food, but they enjoy the hunt as such. Do offer your "pointer" kitty a crumpled little paper ball as a toy once in a while...most playful cats love these as they make an interesting noise, can be picked up, carried around, thrown up in the air and chased. Never mind what the internet or other people say, hour kitty will tell you what it likes and what not and no, there won,'t be anxiety.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Cats have the life don't they! I would try a laser pointer, toy that is along stick with a feather on the end and when you give him treats throw them so he has to chase them. Cats do normally sleep a lot. Check out the link below on environmental enrichment for indoor cats. Good luck! https://www.catbehaviorassociates.com/what-is-environmental-enrichment-and-why-does-your-cat-need-it/ https://indoorpet.osu.edu/cats

There are plastic toys that are long/string like that may be a little more robust for Chevy to play with. Laser pointers may also simulate something on a string that he can safely chase. If he does like things with string on them, I would just make sure to monitor him while playing to ensure he doesn't eat any string and so you can discard the toy if he chews a piece off.

Toys should be big enough to where she cannot swallow them. You can throw crumpled paper balls for her (cats love them, play with them and carry them around), get a few feathers, tie them together with a string and let her run after that. Get a laser pointer...she might like to hunt the dot. There are also plastic balls with a hole to be filled with some dry kibble, and she has to move it around for food to fall out one by one. My cats also like to play with small stuffed animals. That should give you a few ideas. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further. Please take the time to mark this question as helpful or not as it helps us to improve on the quality of our answers to other pet owners. Thank you!
