Fraidy Cat LOVES This Toy!

SushiAndLo

My senior rescue kitty loves to play but is afraid of most motorized toys. She ADORES this one. For the first week or so, she would just watch it until it turned off and then pounce. Now she (loudly) lets me know when she wants me to turn it on, and she loves batting and biting it. She even carries it to her bed, a place of great honor 😅. It’s become a favorite and it’s holding up really well!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good thing it was on sale! Tab broke when I pulled it so had to take apart and remove broken piece first. It worked for 5 minutes before the top stopped spinning. So sad because my cats really enjoyed chasing it and I was able to keep them busy while getting their food ready.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Waste of money, figures why it’s on sale. Spun maybe 10 times the first couple of days and now it only buzzes.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not that great

I had trouble getting it started but then saw the little switch to turn it on after I removed the tab. I was disappointed that one of the "leaves" fell off as I was taking it out of the impossibly hard-to-access packaging. My cat was intrigued but decided that getting hit in the face with the spinning leaves wasn't for her. I'll try it a few more times but think I will bring it back to Petco. It seemed like many of the five-star reviews were from people who were given the item as a promotion for the feedback!

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drives my cats crazy in a good way. They have so much fun playing with it. It keeps them entertained and engaged. I use it when I want to distract them from getting into things around the house that they shouldn't get getting into. Great quality,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats can sometimes get spooked by toys that are too loud so I was so excited that this Dizzy Thing electronic spinning cat toy was so quiet. My cats went right up to this toy with no hesitation and started to play, they love it!!!

Does it stop on it's own? How does it start? There are no instructions in the package. I would love to know if I can turn it on and forget about it without killing the batteries.

  1. The Dizzy Thing has a small button on the side on the darker colored plastic just below the mid-line that turns it on and off. Later models of this toy do have an auto-off feature after about 10 minutes of play, but unfortunately there's no way to know which model you'll get when you order from Petco. I apologize for any inconvenience.
