Our cat will play with his birds for hours. Then take a nap and do it all over again. He makes them fly around the house chasing them. It is so fun. He loves the feathers and the chirping. Great find!

I purchased several toys at once trying to find something that would entertain my cat. This is not working and when I contacted Petco and requested a return label to ship their broken products back, they said I need to take it to a store or pay out of my pocket to ship it back. I will not order from here again.

kitties like it but the sound sounds very faded and weak. last year i bought the mouse one and it sounded good so then i decided to buy the bird one.

My most recent rescue has taught me she is a Labrador Retriever in a hairless kitty's chunky body (she's a Sphynx) and all the toys I've found for our fun bonding exercise are loud, irritating, repetitive and likely awake my neighbors when I accidentally step on one late in the night. Because I'm a sucker for punishment, I continue buying and trying new/alternative sound-makers covered in fluff and feathers when I can, almost solely to have another little critter for my girl to prey on throughout the day, hoping she'll just stay away from my laptop keyboard! This hummingbird has changed it all, including our ever-lengthening, "Go get the birdie!!", and then, "Bring it back! Good girl!" evening routine. It offers a softer, gentler sound and tone when triggered by motion, it appears to squawk lower in pitch, and is overall much more pleasant than the awful (read: FAKE) chirps and whistles the previous fluff victims have been graced with. I will stick with this particular model and have stopped looking for a better, updated, variety to spoil my girl with Now I can confidently engage in some late night fetchy-fetch with her and not worry about receiving complaints from sleeping neighbors or having a my own conniption due to repetitive, shrill and unimaginative chirp mockery slamming my ears and overwhelming my peace of mind!
