Great question! I always keep my dog food in an airtight plastic container. It helps keep it fresh, and the container also prevents any other creatures from getting the food such as insects. I recommend a container. I hope this helps :-)

Buying cat food from a sealed bag is definitely best. I don't recommend buying from an opened sack. You did a great job by putting the food in an airtight container and I would keep doing that after you open a sealed sack to keep the food stored fresh. Hope this helps. Great question!

I would recommend getting a ball that dispenses treats or a different treat dispenser. I would put Malsey's meals in this and then let her work for her food. Then you can give her the wet food as a treat. That way she has all day to work for it and maybe it will stop the meowing for food since there will probably still be more in the dispesnser. You can try something like this: https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Egg-Cersizer-Interactive-Dispenser-Treats/dp/B003H44R5K/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1545441803&sr=8-4&keywords=treat+dispensing+cat+toys Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

I suggest you go to meal feeding and separate the cats when they eat. One cat in one room. One in another with the door closed. ( https://www.pet-happy.com/how-to-start-scheduling-your-cats-meals/? )

No it is not enough water for your cat. Which is why you still want to leave the water bowl or fountain out and available throughout the day. Cats don't get most of their water from their food, they get it from drinking water. And I find that cats drink more adequate amounts of water when they have access to pet water fountains as opposed to standstill water in a bowl.
