I order two food containers. I only received one. The one I did get came with no information. Wasn't in a box. Scuffed and scratched up. The other has been lost in delivery and I can only imagine the damage to the container after a week of constantly going back and forth between NC and SC especially without being safely packaged in a box. Will not order from Petco again.

Love these have many --
The last 3 I have bought have arrived without a scoop. Maybe they have stopped including them, but its a convenient addition and was expected. Other than that... my Macaws have not chewed through one of these, and they keep bugs and rodents out!

It keeps the bugs out, and the food fresh.
I like this container so far. It's got a decent thickness and a nice amount of space. And I like that the lid screws on tight, it keeps the bugs out. Only thing I don't care for ,is the odor of the material that endlessly lingers even after being thoroughly washed and dried. But other than that, it works for me. I just keep the food in the bag and put it in there, and it keeps it fresh and bug free. Maybe over time the funky smell will subside.

I have not received my purchase yet from Petco but I have bought this particular product several times in the past from chewy.com from amazon.com and now from Petco these are the best containers that I have ever purchased they keep the pet food amongst other dry goods completely dry airtight and bug free I've been using this particular product for over 9 years now and I have not had one complaint. you cannot go wrong with this product I use it for rice grits dog food cat food steel cut oats rolled oats beans I have at least 25 of these containers and they have lasted me very well over the years and they have stood the test of endurance and time. sometimes they're not as cheap as the other containers but you won't find a better one. quality pure quality

- I use it to store my duck feed on my covered porch and haven’t had any issues, it’s worked great!

- 50 lbs is probably a push. I buy 28 lb bags and it fills up 2/3rd of the vault.

What size is the scoop that comes with the 50lb vault?
- The scoop holds 1-1/4 cups . It has a "half-way" line also. It is very sturdy and has an easy to hold handle.

Is it ideal for grains, flour and sugar?
- I believe it would be. We keep two bags of dog food inside. It is airtight. We have not had an issue with moisture or staleness. After a year we bought a second one to keep in the camper while traveling. Continued success
