I like this container so far. It's got a decent thickness and a nice amount of space. And I like that the lid screws on tight, it keeps the bugs out. Only thing I don't care for ,is the odor of the material that endlessly lingers even after being thoroughly washed and dried. But other than that, it works for me. I just keep the food in the bag and put it in there, and it keeps it fresh and bug free. Maybe over time the funky smell will subside.

I ordered this a week ago and FedEx is still riding around the USA with it.

I have not received my purchase yet from Petco but I have bought this particular product several times in the past from chewy.com from amazon.com and now from Petco these are the best containers that I have ever purchased they keep the pet food amongst other dry goods completely dry airtight and bug free I've been using this particular product for over 9 years now and I have not had one complaint. you cannot go wrong with this product I use it for rice grits dog food cat food steel cut oats rolled oats beans I have at least 25 of these containers and they have lasted me very well over the years and they have stood the test of endurance and time. sometimes they're not as cheap as the other containers but you won't find a better one. quality pure quality

Very nice container, good quality. Keeps the food fresh and out of the way.

I'm using the Gamma Vault container to store bird seed in the basement, for transfer to the smaller every day supply container. It easily holds the 40lbs bag of bird seed sold at warehouse stores, with much room to spare. That makes transfers to the every day container easy, preventing spillage that could attract critters to the basement. It feels sturdy and well made. The only negative is the lid, which is a little finicky and needs to be carefully put in place before it will spin closed.

The screw lids are leak proof but are difdicukt to close and they go shut tightly I want to know how to get replacement lids please

The container is not air tight. The morning after we bought it, we found it with chew marks all over the top along with a good sized hole from rats. It didn’t take long for them to get through the thick plastic container or “Vault”.
