We had to get two of these because we use different foods for different dogs. These are awesome.

Bought at USA based retail store. At first blush I loved this item; however, the love affair ended with gasket falling out after a couple of weeks of use. I only open these containers twice a day, they are stacked, and on pallet to keep off floor. They are NOT abused and used by adults only, with that said gaskets should not FAIL so quickly! Quality and use of product is great except for gasket. I found this website to purchase gaskets. I hope these new gaskets last!

I have 2 of these for my 2 dogs on different diets. They perfectly sit side by side on my pantry closet’s floor and have fit in several houses with a panty door. I’ve had them in use for over 10 yrs! I can’t speak to any changes the company may have made in those years but I’m very happy with the ones I have. 26# bags of food fit perfectly in each vault with a good allowance to get your scoop in without kibble falling out. The only problems I’ve encountered over the years is 1: the inside gasket can stretch and fall out if the lid is tightened too tight (but it goes back to its original elasticity after a rest) and 2: there’s a small crack in one of the vault’s rim that doesn’t appear to effect its performance. There’s never any smell of dog food in the panty closet so I know it’s sufficiently air tight. I haven’t tested it for waterproofness but these vaults don’t advertise them as waterproof. There is a difference between air proof/airtight and waterproof. If needed, this type vault by Gamma will be purchased again.

If I could give this less than one star I would. This item does not hold 40lbs of dog food. In fact, it doesn’t even hold 34lbs of dog food. I tried reaching out to the production company about this and the only response I got was “if you’re not happy, you’re welcome to return it.” So that’s exactly what I did. These things are $50 a pop and don’t even hold what they are advertised too. I’m extremely disappointed in this product and will not be supporting this brand in any way in the future due to complete and utter absence of customer service. Do with this information what you will but don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Gasket around lid is too loose falls off every time it is opened

Gasket is too big falls off every time it’s opened.

Quality seems fine. However, the 35lb vault did not fit a 31.1lb bag of food and there was not a scoop included. Will have to return and unfortunately spend more money for a bigger version.

Purchased one at store and I am very happy with it. Ordered 2 at the store to be delivered and one came with damaged O ring and a missing O ring! The company sent new ones but the container is very hard to close.
