Is it safe to use Dexamethasone for an 8 month old pup to misscarry a litter?
The vet (he deals with birds as well as other animals) I took my cockatiel to, for her eye problem, suggested the use of Ciprofloxacin dexamethasone eye drops for her. Her right eye has been watery. But not red or swollen. A few feathers lost/possibly wet around the eye. Is dexamethasone a right choice ? He has also suggested cefpodoxime orally for her mild voice problem, seems to be mild cold.
Dex and Benadryl were administered before Dhpp and bordetella, reasons I do not know why. My question is, will the Dexamethasone inhibit an immune response for the Dhpp and bordetella?
My dog is a 3 year Maltese with 11 lbs. He was wearing a Scalibur necklace for flees, and by that developed a red rash around the neck. We removed it yesterday, but today he is itching, breathing more heavily than normal, and squiling. We called a vet and she told us to give him dexamethasone. We have 0.5mg human dexamethasone. We gave him 1 pill 0,5mg 5 hours ago, and 2 more half an hour ago. Total 1.5mg. Is that enough? Should we give more? When will the effect take place? Thanks!
Mazikeen just bit at a kid, this is EXTREMELY uncharacteristic of her, she has never been aggressive in any way shape or form. She just got a shot of Dexamethasone today, could that change behavior? She’s been pretty absent since about 5 hours after shot, and very hungry which also not normal.
Hi! My cat recently got his catheter removed. We are prescribed to give him only dexamethasone together with his prescription diet to dissolve the crystals. During the nighr, he was able to pee. This morning he was able to pee small drops. Minutes later, when he's trying to urinate, nothing comes out. Is this normal?

Hallo, my furbaby was spayed two weeks ago, she developed a lump ( which is not hard) under the incision, and redness or bruised looking skin, she is on dexamethasone and antibiotic, it seems better but I don’t know if this is normal. Plse help
After taking Hoonie to the vet because of his limping, the vet gave him some dexamethasone to take for seven days 2 times a day after meals and doxycycline for 10 days two times a day after meals. So i recently asked if benadryl and a steroid shot could be the cause to my puppy throwing up after allergic reaction. I found out the steroid shot he was injected with was dexamethasone is it normal for him to be throwing up because of that shot and should i take him to vet right away or try bland diet first to see if that helps with throwing up?
Hello, Beau was diagnosed with corneal edema. One of his eyes is partially cloudy and there is presence of blood vessels. He is on Neomycin and Polymyxin B sulfates and Dexamethasone Opthalmic Ointment. The vet said the blood vessels suggest the injury has been there for quite some time. What is his prognosis? Is there anything else I should do? Thanks.
