Adequan Equine Horse Prescriptions

Is it OK to give my dog Adequan 1 month after the vial says it has expired?

Wondering about the equine joint supplement lubrigen is it good bad is it tested

My dog is starting his 3rd week of Adequan injections SubQ. I know the cycle is usually 2 injections per week for the first 4 weeks, but what after that? I know usually it's 1 per month as a booster, but in severe cases CAN we extend the twice weekly injections or is that harmful?

My 11 yr old beagle has started scooting herself to get where she wants to go instead of using her back legs for about a month now. Our Vet started her on Adequan injections, 1 per week for 4 wks then 1x a month. He said we should see a big difference by the 3rd or 4th shot. She's had 4 so far and there is absolutely NO difference.. Should we look to euthanasia? I dont want to see her suffer.

How much Safeguard Equine paste can be given to Bloodhound puppies 8 wks old and weighing 10-15 lbs for parasites. I have given it to older puppies for 3 days in a row. Worked great.

Sasha was diagnosed with spondylosis which caused limping and difficulty getting up. She was treated with tramadol, neurotin &prednisone 20 mg/ day for 2 weeks. She had a remarkable recovery but we are trying to wean her off prednisone. She is on prednisone 5mg every other day and does fine, along with neurontin and Adequan shots. But, every time she goes more than 2 days off of prednisone, she starts to limp again. How long can she stay on prednisone 5mg every other day? Isn't this harmful?

My dog has lost a bunch of weight I think because of worms is it safe to give him safe-guard equine horse dewormer he's about 3-4years old & weighs about 70 lbs he's a lab & pit mix I do believe

My dog's IDEXX parasite test results came back with "Eimeria sp. oocysts present. Eimeria is not a parasite of this species. This parasite may be present in the feces as a result of coprophagy (rabbit, avian, or equine feces), and/or predation." He's already been on 27 days of meds and his vet wants him to do more until he's clear of it. I took him to a different vet and they said no treatment is necessary and it should pass from his system with time. Who's right? He has no symptoms.

Anchor had a nail in his hoof and I had an equine vet come and take it out she gave me some injections to give him I have to inject him in his rump but I'm scared he might kick me when injecting him I watched the vet do it and she didn't get kicked and anchor didn't even move but I'm still to scared is there anywhere els I can give it to him I don't like being near his backlegs there so powerful and I don't wanna get kicked

What is a good joint medication for a dog who is ten years old?

My dog, Tasha, has Osteo-arthritis. She limps when first getting up from lying down. She is on 3/day of ConGlu 900-V. to Lubricate the joints. also? (which is a joint lubricant )? I don't see how it would make any difference Now in her condition. For pain and inflammation, she takes one to two pills of Tramadol 100mg., per day.
