I have a 17 year old cat and she has fleas, for the first time. I put Frontline on her and she tolerated it without a problem. But by the next week the fleas were back. The barn apartment is NOT flea infested. I have had Frontline fail on other cats that live at my house. Now it has failed on her as well and there is no contact between them.. And II am at at loss what to do. I am afraid of capstar at her age. Advice?

Hi ! I'm having a challenge getting my outdoor kitty's flea problem under control . AdvantAge works for a week then stops working. Is it safe to try frontline two weeks after applying advantage ? Was also thinking of trying comfortis but am afraid of any side effects because it's internal . In your experience , Does frontline work well? Is a topical any less toxic than an internal? I had to give her drontal about a week and a half ago so I don't wanna overload her system . Thank you

Best flea/ parasite pill for small dog?

I understand that fleas have become resistant to frontline plus . My dogs and maybe cat have cheyletiella and I'm wondering if these mites are also resistant to frontline. What products would you suggest I use?
