Seller makes no warranty, expressed or implied, concerning the use of this product other than indicated on the label. Buyer assumes all risk of use and handling of this material when such use and handling are contrary to label instructions.

To apply, simply follow these instructions and repeat every 30 days: Remove one FRONTLINE Gold applicator tube from the package and hold in an upright position pointed away from your face. Twist dispensing tip clockwise about 1/2 turn while pushing down to break the tube's seal. Do not remove the dispensing tip. Position the dispending tip on the cat's back between the shoulder blades. Use the dispensing tip of the tube to part the cat's hair so that the product will be applied at skin level. Begin squeezing out the contents of the tube to form a stripe as you move from the shoulder blades along the cat's back to the base of the tail. Repeat every month.

I bought this at the suggestion of the clerk after letting her know AdvantageII was not working any longer. She said this was the newest and best treatment. Three days after application and all 6 cats still have fleas. Very disappointed. Very costly as well. I will be sure to update if anything changes in the next few days.

No, I do not recommend this product.

You are likely seeing NEW fleas on your pet, which are jumping on your pet as it moves through infested areas in and around your home. Depending on the severity of the existing infestation, you may continue to see new fleas jumping on your pet for three months or more. Please call 888-637-4251 with any questions you may have.

Doubts about Effectiveness of Product

Sarah_bowie

I purchased this for my indoor cats after noticing fleas. I do like that it applies to all weights (over 1.5 lbs) so I don't have to figure out dosages to buy, and it is easy to apply. I applied it on July 19 and initially thought there might be some reduction in the cats' discomfort. That seems to have faded and it's back to full scratching. I've also been vacuuming and laundering cat throws and anything else that can be washed in conjunction with the Frontline. I read the reviews where the manufacturer replies and says something like "the fleas you see now are not the same ones when you first applied the dose"... I don't really care what fleas they are, I expected some positive results even if I have to repeat applications in another month to continue treatment. So as of now I will look at trying Advantage or another product instead of Frontlne when the next dosage is due, and hope that one works better than Frontline.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Flea infestations problems are complex. The life cycle of fleas means that new adults can be emerging daily. If there are animals in or around your house that are not on a flea prevention product, then fleas will continue to be a problem. All animals around the house need to be on flea prevention every month. Non-domesticated animals like raccoons and opposums are visiting the places where your cats live can help feed fleas and allow them to lay eggs. All dogs and cats in the household need to be treated with a species appropriate product to fully control existing flea populations.

Do not reapply FRONTLINE® Gold for Cats for 30 days. Use once monthly to break the flea life cycle. You are likely seeing NEW fleas on your pet, which are jumping on your pet as it moves through infested areas in and around your home. TERRIBLE PRODUCT

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!! IT DOES NOT WORK!!!! I live in Florida and it seems the fleas have started earlier than usual this year and they are aggressive!!! I have 3 cats and they all seemed to be uncomfortable so I immediately went to get some flea prevention and control. I was only concerned with the fleas but when I got to Petco and started comparing this Frontline product was the only one that also killed and prevent ticks, lice, etc. So ended up getting this and what a big mistake. I originally went for Advantage and shouldn't have changed it or at least I should've looked at the reviews which I did when I got home. Advantage had a 4.7 rating and the Frontline had a 3.2 rating! Honestly I wouldn't even rate it that high. It didn't work even a little bit. The fleas are getting worse but it's only been 16 days and you're supposed to wait 30 days to reapply. So idk what to do from here but I can't even wait 14 days by then lol have a serious infestation soooooo this sux🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 I bought this product for my cats bc

I thought the product wasn't working right at first because I still saw a tick but you have to let the fleas and ticks die off. Very happy with this product now that I'm using regularly.

Tube Delivery Method is Awful

Spudsy

The product may be fine but the delivery method is awful. 1) These tubes are so difficult to open and it's difficult to determine when you have succeeded in opening them. I lost the contents of one tube because I didn't realize it was open and left it on it's side. 2) I lost half the contents of another tube because pressing on the tube to apply it to my cat created a loud squirting sound that scared off my cat. I had no way of knowing how much if any was left in the tube. I squirted into the trash can and was surprised to see that quite a bit was left and now wasted. There has got to be a better delivery method. One with 1) QUICK and SILENT delivery of the ENTIRE dose, 2) Visibility: has entire dose been used, 3) Easier to open or indicator that it is open

No, I do not recommend this product.
