Shop for Zoo Med reptile, fish, bird and small animal products at Petco and discover new ways to customize and take care of your pet's terrarium, tank, cage or habitat. Although Zoo Med has a wide range of products, their true passion is for herpetology, also known as the study of amphibians and reptiles. Started by two young college friends in a one car garage, over their almost 40 year history Zoo Med has grown to include a team "full of hobbyists, biologists and engineers who enjoy making the best reptile products on earth!"
Zoo Med's selection of pet care products include supplements, food, and water conditioners, so you can meet their dietary and hydration needs. They also have lighting that can mimic desert, warm ocean, coral and daylight sun glows. These lights and lamps help your pets feel at home and help prolong their health by keeping their habitats at an ideal temperature when paired with one of Zoo Med's Digital Thermometer and Day Night Timer products. And because a reptile or amphibian terrarium would be nothing without the proper terra or earth, Zoo Med also has a wide range of substrates, sands, and mosses. For added privacy, Zoo Med also offers hideaway products, so your pets can get some shut eye in the shade. If your pet is used to a more humid habitat, Zoo Med also has an Automatic Terrarium Mister product, so your tropical friend can enjoy a spray of moisture as often as they need it. To ensure your pet has a safe and clean environment, Zoo Med also offer filters, scoops and non-toxic sprays. In addition to their long history of providing herpetology enthusiasts with pet solutions, Zoo Med has also strived to be on the forefront of green practices in hopes of influencing other pet companies to do what they can to help protect our planet.

Hi! Beau's been having loose stool for 3 weeks and is on metronidazole for a week already but diarrhea's worsen. Could that be the side effect of the med-- how would I know if the med is working? He's also on 2.5mg of prednisolone every other day for bronchitis but my vet wants to up his dosage to 5mg daily for a few days. Is that advisable? If both the preds and metronidazole don't work, what's next? He's eating well, hydrated, and acts normal. I also give him probiotics. Thank you!
My dog back leg, he is walking uncomfortably. He seems to be in Pain . As vet had recommended me to give him a med (m-cam) whenever he had pain. Is it serious or not?
Hello, my Maine Coon cat (a year and half young) has vomited everything he had for the past 24 hours (food, water, even the laxative ointment). Symptoms similar to what happened last Feb when we took him to the vet, spent over $1,000 on emergency check-up, x-rays, I.V., anti-nausea med, pain relief med, etc. It was concluded that the whole thing was a hairball issue. I am trying my best to help him try and pass a stool, which in turn will help him get rid of the hairball in his bowels. Ideas?
3mo kitten neutered yesterday. Pre med with bupsr, sedated with telazol, and given Meloxicam post op. Was BAR, e/d and doing well up until noon today. Now is VERY lethargic, vomiting, and refusing food. And is dehydrated. and seems painful abdominally. Incision and tattoo site look great- no swelling, bruising or bleeding. Thoughts

Is there hormone pills or med available for standard poodles, for the female to help when they are in heat, so they want the male more? My female poodles keeps rejecting the male even though he is dominant.
My 30ish pound 8ishMO month old pit just swallowed an entire nylabone for med dogs. We don't have a 24/7 pet er, and we don't have any money to put down for service. What can we do? At least until Monday when the vet is open again.
I accidentally gave my dog his med 3 hours before it was due. Rymadil chew 1/2 tab. I gave him one at 11am his next dose was due at 11pm but I accidentally gave it at 800pm, so 3hours before it needed to be given. Will he be ok?
Our 5 month old kitten has been given Fluconazole to treat what appears to be ringworm which the lady who was housing him before we adopted him said he had already been treated but it was dormant. My question is does that med cause itching as it is treating the ringworm?
