So my hermit crab hasn't melted for about 8 months should I be worried?
can saltwater hermit crabs live with out water
bought three hermit crabs on June 28th. Two of them are very active and have even witnessed them changing shells a few times. However, the third one seems to be staying burrowed most of the time. I am concerned.
My hermit crab is in his shell, but I'm not sure if he's molting or he's dead he smells like fish.
my leopard geckos tank is at 65% humidity i have an air conditioner and some moisture absorbing desecants next to the tank. will they be alright or will they get skin disease? its very humid where i am right now
Do leopard gecko need a heat lamp my leopard gecko has a heat mat that is 88-90 degrees?
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
I just recently got a garden snail, does he need a heater at all? And is there anything I should do to make sure he stays healthy?
My RES is not eating. I tried plants, in case she is a vegetarian, and shrimp but nothing works she basks a lot under her lamp, but it is not a UVB light. I am getting it in a week. She has a companion. Leonardo. The water temp is at least 75 and she she seems comfortable. Her shell seems as if she has something dry white on her shell but it is barely noticeable in water.
I have a leopard gecko and it seems that the temperature in the tank isn't getting to what it needs to be. I have a heating mat and a thermostat and i have the heating mat highest up to 93 degrees. But the air inside on the warm side is only like 79 degrees how do I fix this I know that heating mats are the best for them but it isn't making my tank warm enough. Also, I know that heat lamps aren't the best since they aren't basking animals. So what should I do to make it warmer?
My crested gecko is acting really strange. She is bathing in her water dish aswell as drinking alot. Shes sleeping on the bottome of her tank which I dont even remember her ever going down there. Shes very cold no matter what the temp is in the tank. She also has fast shallow breaths and is biting at her ankle. I dont know what's wrong.
Fancy leopard geckos need light. If I keep the red light on 24/7 as directed by, what should the temperature be?
