Hello! I need an unbias opinion from someone who isnt after my money! My 10 y/o male malti-poo, 13 lbs, went in for pre surgery senior labs & came out with both front legs wrapped. They said he needed to be poked twice. What I dont understand is the next day he was shaking uncontrollably, & he didnt want to walk. Then he had accidents. Days 2-4 he limped around then he finally got back to normal. Im hesitant to take him back now for his surgery! Is this a normal amount pain from labs? Thank you
My 9 yr old Chi had a ruptured anal gland. I went ahead and scheduled a dental cleaning for a few days later and her labs came back liver enzyme ALP/1700 ALT/245. vet says it's cushings and I need to take her to a specialists. However, I'm thinking that her elevated ALP might have been due to her vomiting and not pooping due to the pain and then rupture less than 18 hours prior to labs? I'm thinking another lab might result in lower #'s or is this way off base?

Hi Tony’s recent labs show a hi normal SDMA of 13 but my vet is ok with his other kidney values. She has recommended a newly available hills rx food k/d early support. Would he benefit more from a regular hills k/d full renal diet. Thanks!
