If Bairav is eating a good quality puppy food, he, he should not require additional vitamin/mineral supplementation. You can continue with this syrup if you. Follow label directions when administering and try not to give it on an empty stomach to avoid GI upset.

I'm looking for a high quality supplement to add to my dogs food, have you ever heard of Dr. Jeff's Optimum canine care? If so do you think it would be a good one to use? If not could you please recommend one?
I am not familiar with Dr. Jeff's products. So sorry. I'm not really sure what you are looking for in a supplement? An immune system booster? Just a vitamin? Probiotics? Skin/Coat health? Joint health? I have an 8 yr old obese lab that is having a bit of trouble getting up after lying down & is gimpy for a bit afterward. I know the stiffness has a bit to do w/ his weight (125 lbs). But he also has TERRIBLE skin allergies that make him itch HORRIBL
Hello. I would start with Hill's sensitive Skin & Stomach. It is not a light food, but by feeding the recommended amount on the bag for a 60-80 pound dog, he should begin to drop a little weight. For his joints, you want to give him a name brand supplement & I recommend Nutramax. They make Cosequin & Dasuquin Advanced. I would also start him on a fish oil supplement, 1000-2000 mg daily. As he ages, he may need more help with his arthritis & we have excellent pain modalities for dogs including appropriate non steroidal drugs, & prescription joint treatments called Adequan. My personal preference, completed unrelated to Boop by Petco or Petco, would be Cosequin ( http://www.cosequin.com/dogs/ ) or Dasuquin ( http://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/#dog ). Both are made by Nutromax Labs.

ALP is 1,800 in her bloodwork today , vet referred me to another vet to treat it but didn’t answer my questions on treatment . Age 12 mini dauschaund . Any supplements would help ?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are several conditions that can cause an elevated ALP and some of them do not require therapy right away.
