Spironolactone Prescriptions for Small Animals & Other Pets

My cavalier weighing 9 kg has CHF. She is on 2.5mg vetmedin twice a day, 20mg furomicide twice a day & Spironolactone 25mg once a day. This evening I gave her Spironolactone 50mg by accident. This was with her usual vetmedin 2.5mg, 20mg furomicide & 2.5mg furtokor. Will she be Ok?

Hi. My 9 year beagle/spaniel hurt his bag leg tonight and is limping. Tomorrow he is having surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his neck. He has very bad heart disease - on 4 different medications daily (Spironolactone, Benazepril, Lasix, Vetmedin). Will his hurt leg affect the surgery? HI! My dog was diagnosed with Addisons disease almost a year ago. She is now on 2.5 mg Predisone and 0.1 mg fludrocortisone twice a day. Since taking the medication she has gained an excessive amount of weight and her stomach is huge. My family says she should probably stop the medication but i don't want her to get sick off of it.
