Is there any difference between rimadyl and carprofen
Can a dog take clavamox, tramadol, metronidazole and rimadyl together?
My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma. He had taken rimadyl and vetprofen. He now has a prescription for Prednisone. The vet said to wait 24 hours after his last rimadyl and then begin the Prednisone. Is that too soon to begin the Prednisone? I do not want him to have an adverse reaction but I hate seeing him so uncomfortable.
Accidentally gave my dog a double dose of rimadyl (he is 45-50 lbs and ingested 100 mg)
My 85 lb retriever is suppose to have 100 mg tablet of Rimadyl once in the morning and then at night. Well we had already given him his medication for the day, but the person that we have watching him did not realize that we gave him his medication for the night (100 mg Rimadyl) will he be okay, and should we skip his morning dose. Thank you
My dog was given a shot of dexamethosone for sever arthritis and 5 days of prednisone. I am questioning if you can give prednisone in addition to Dexamethosone. I was told also to withhold Rimadyl until a day after stoppingprednisone for a washout period. From what I have been reading, there should be a longer washout period before starting back the Rimadyl. What is your opinion?
Hi. My 20lbs Lakeland terrier ate by accident 6 or 7 25 mg pills of Rimadyl. He seems fine but should I worry?
Just got home and apparently my dog ate a pill bottle that contained 500mg of rimadyl. She seems to be fine. Do I need to be worried?
I rescued a dog that came with Carprofen(2×per day) and Rimadyl(3x per day). Can I give them to her together and which one is better before bed ?
My german Shepard was prescribed Rimadyl for a bum leg, she had a little limp the other day and the vet thought it might go away. The problem has gotten a bit worse and she is avoiding stairs, but can stand on her own and walk around for a few minutes. I have some vet perscribed Hydrocodone for one of our other dogs. I'm unsure if giving her this while she has the Rimadyl in her system would have a conflicting effect. We have a vet appt scheduled for Wednesday to get her back in.
Panda has a nail bed infection he is being treated with rimadyl and cephalexin he is halfway through his course of antibiotics and rimadyl I thought it was clearing up but today it is looking red again ge does have a gap between the skin and the nail I cleaned it with Clorohexadin does he need more time for meds to work or needs further treatment last time he had a toe infection it didn't respond to antibiotics and he ended up having the toe removed as the bone was infected
Our German wire hair has been throwing up mostly clear phlegm and white frothy stuff for two days. He was taking Simplicef and Rimadyl for a week for a cut on his leg
