Rimadyl is given by mouth. It may be given with food to reduce the chance of stomach/intestinal side effects. Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your veterinarian. No, I do not recommend this product.
Questions
Does it have a line on it so that you can break it in half. My dog is on the 25 ng but only takes 1/2 of the chewable every 12 hours.Â
- yes it has a score down the middle but the tablets are quite crumbly so you're better off using a pill cutter!

What do if my dog ate a 75mg Carprofen pill

My two standards poodles had a pretty hard collision playing ball. One was fine, the other was limping for awhile after. He is walking normal now, but does appear sore. We have Carprofen on hand because this has happened so many times. Is it safe to give him 50mg of Carprofen? He is also on carafate and omeprazole for acid refulx. I just wanted to make sure there are no drug interactions since he was not on these the last time he had Carprofen.

Is it okay to give my 10 lb dog 12.5 mg of Rimadyl every 12 hours? I can’t figure out how to cut the 25 mg pill into 3rds; plus it would then give only 8 mg. And I want to make sure she gets relief. My 7 lb rat terrier chi mix gets 12.5 mg of Carprofen every 12 hours. She accidentally got another 12.5 mg 3 hours later. She has an enlarged heart and also takes Pimobendin; but doe not have CHF. Will she be ok?
what is the difference between carprofen and tramadol. My Vet gave them to my Little Love a of months before she went to Doggy Heaven for pain. I still have one other dog Chompers so, I don't want to throw them out if I might need them some time.
