Is there any difference between rimadyl and carprofen
What do if my dog ate a 75mg Carprofen pill
What does this carprofen medicine is used for ? Also what does this means elimination is half life 8hrs ? Also my dog was having pain in his rear left leg he lift also sometimes so my vet prescribed carprofen for 6 days twice daily 100mg and his weight is 38 kg so does this carprofen has any side effect on liver and kidney ? Also as we know carprofen is alopathic medicine so I cant give this for daily basis for improvement of his leg so what other supplements I can give for his leg joint
My dog is on long-term pain medication: Carprofen 50mg twice daily. I ran out of pills this morning (Sunday) and my vet is closed until tomorrow morning. Is there something non-prescription I can give her tonight?
I know Carprofen is a pain medication put is it for hip Dysplasia
I rescued a dog that came with Carprofen(2×per day) and Rimadyl(3x per day). Can I give them to her together and which one is better before bed ?
Is it okay to give my 10 lb dog 12.5 mg of Rimadyl every 12 hours? I can’t figure out how to cut the 25 mg pill into 3rds; plus it would then give only 8 mg. And I want to make sure she gets relief. If the blood work comes back normal, should I not worry about the 12.5 mg every 12 hours? Thank you for your time and help!
My two standards poodles had a pretty hard collision playing ball. One was fine, the other was limping for awhile after. He is walking normal now, but does appear sore. We have Carprofen on hand because this has happened so many times. Is it safe to give him 50mg of Carprofen? He is also on carafate and omeprazole for acid refulx. I just wanted to make sure there are no drug interactions since he was not on these the last time he had Carprofen.
My dog is 15lbs. She was just spayed. She is prescribed 75mg Rimadyl, 1/2 pill a day. She woke up in pain and was crying/whimpering 2:30am so I gave it to her. She has had the following doses: Wed 9am (guessing) 37.5mg, Thurs 2:30am 37.5mg, Thurs 9am 37.5mg. She won't get any more until tomorrow morn at 9am. She ate her breakfast and did not get sick and is her playful self right now. Are we ok? Or should I be concerned? I would think if life-threatening would be on the LABEL.
My 7 lb rat terrier chi mix gets 12.5 mg of Carprofen every 12 hours. She accidentally got another 12.5 mg 3 hours later. She has an enlarged heart and also takes Pimobendin; but doe not have CHF. Will she be ok?
What vitamins can I give my dog with luxating patella? She is only 9 months and on Carprofen
Accidentally gave my dog a double dose of rimadyl (he is 45-50 lbs and ingested 100 mg)
