my 10 year old cockatiel is acting funny! when i came home, she was on her perch, but thin, with her wings a bit droopy, her eyes are tiny like when she gets sleepy. when i opened her cage, she just sat there shivering, her tail bobbing. her tail is also low and she has a little bump on the base of it. she's being docile, unlike her usual sassy self, and is being quiet. she was fine this morning! she was also nesting last week. please help!

I noticed this a few days ago about Miss Kitty. I have natural curl in my hair, & since I've had her, & raised her since she was 5,6 wks old, & is now 10 yrs old, her whiskers have a curl to them. Never seen this before. Is it natural 4 her 2 take on my traits even down 2 my natural curly hair ?

Layla will do this odd thing where she shakes/shivers, almost like she's vibrating, for a few secones at a time. It is very weird. What could it be?

My bird is acting strange she eats in very quick flies to her water and sits over it and poops then splashes and makes a mess then she gets out and puts a foot on one toy while the other is on another toy she stands there for a long time and then falls.

Since there's a letter count on this I gotta be sho.. My 8 month old male budgie sometimes has this weird head movement where he retracts and extends his neck a couple of times quickly before stopping up and doing it again. This may happen after he chews on his straw toy or if he is pinning and nibbling on my finger. This bird has been alone with us for about 3 months now but we've already started looking for a female to accompany him. I'm concerned he has something stuck in his throat?Or na?

My pet is a year old Alexandrian parakeet,she seems to have weird voice while she is chirping her eating habbits are quite normal and she is active like any other day ! What should i do?

my rat is making odd noises half way between a hoot and bubbles he is fine in every other way however I have never heard this before so any advice would be great.

My cockatiel has been acting a bit odd he has a weird smell when he squawks. Also he clears his crop once and then he scratches himself after a minute he clears his crop again I don't see him do it in his cage. Thank you

I just got an 8 week old baby Quaker parrot and a 16 week old green cheek yesterday. I'm used to cockatiel and green cheek conure behavior since I've raised them for years. The baby Quaker seems to not know what to do with his tail, like it's always in the way, making him accidentally fall. His appetite isn't as much as the other birds and likes to rest. His stool seems small as well. Is this behavior normal for a quaker?

Urgent help, my budgie millet has been becoming abit less active for the last few days and today I noticed something strange, I petted her and after I did she started shivering a little but here's when it gets abit more odd, she started preening and it was almost like as if she was losing balance and at one point she moved her head all the way up and started displaying really odd behaviour, I know for a fact that's she's getting old because we have had her for 5 years now please help thanks!

Coco holds her childhood's plushie toy in her mouth, climbs or rolls around on the chair or on the floor, sleeps with her belly facing upwards, as though broken and keeps talking rather murr murring under her breathe. Not that it's an issue but can you explain this behaviour? It's funny how she keeps talking!
