We got my dog tested and did cultures and finally got rid of her UTI but she still has a little problem with incontinence and I was wondering about the drug proin. I know somebody that had a puppy and the same thing happened and it was put on proin for about a year because their vet said it might take some time for their your readers to become attached to the bladder stronger or too mature more after a year on proin the animal no longer have incontinence

My Doberman pincher was diagnosed with urinary incontinence last year. She was prescribed proin 75mg twice a day and after fighting with her to take it for a month I looked for natural ways to help her and I have tried quite a few ones that either didn't work or only worked for a month or two and then stopped. Can you guys recommend something I can try that could work like proin that's natural that I won't need a prescription for? Thank you.
Clarabell has experienced a drastic reduction in mobility. XRAY shows arthritis in back leggs. Prescribed gabapentin. Saw some improvement, but she now urinates without realizing it multiple times a day. Proin started 2 days ago, but no improvement so far. Never had incontinence before this. How long does Proin take? Bathing causes joint discomfort, which voids the benefit of gabapentin. Is this a side effect that will go away? Any other suggestions? Regular vet is unavailable until Wednesday.

My dog Romeo got his anal glands expressed yesterday afternoon and also the vet tech shaved around the area. He was uncomfortable all evening scooting and kept sitting down and getting up. It looked pretty red last night so took him to ER who said it’s just a razor burn.. It looks like it’s improving to me. Would the ER vet be able to diagnose a anal gland abscess if there was one? It was my first time with this ER vet.He’s still little uncomfortable. Anything I can do? Like compresses? Thanks!
Our dog has a pea-sized bump on the top of her muzzle. Showed up Saturday. Not slowing her down any but she doesn't like us to touch it. We've used EnteDerm but it hasn't helped. Today it's raw on top. From a sting, maybe? Can't get her into vet until Thurs unless it's ER vet. What can we do to help her until then? Or should we do the ER visit?
