What commands should a six month old puppy know? Just want to make sure on track. Knows down, sit, stay, come, swing (a heeling thing that go around your back to heel) finish (go to heel), stand. Knows leave it but idk how to teach like stop going after something (throwing a ball or sm?) and I need help teaching let go. She knows fetch as well. How much cups should she have? my cat knocked over natures miracle enzymatic urine cleaner and got it all over him, we washed as much as we could off of him but his tail still smells like it will it make him sick.

I have a kitten, she’s about 4-5 months old, She’s pee’d on my husband in our bed about 5 times now. Always in the morning, as husband is getting up or has hit the snooze button. I’ve use the Natures miracle urine destroyer. She also has “ played “ like she was gonna pee on the bed but runs off when you say her name. I’ve done a lot to clean up and stop her. If I can’t stop this behavior I’m going to have to give her back to the rescue I adopted her from. She is an important member.

My Doberman pinscher puppy is 10 months old and we feed her 6 cups of the natures domain puppy food from Kirkland a day divided into breakfast and dinner. Normally she eats like she is starving but for the last week she has been uninterested in her breakfast. She will eat dinner just fine. She has normal energy and no other GI problems. Should I cut back her food? We haven’t been to the vet in a while so I am unsure of her current weight and she had her spay at 6 months. Thank you in advance!

I have decided to prepare Nala's food at home as opposed to store bought dog food. What would I need to add to a recipe containing following: Beef Liver 3lbs Lamb Hearts 2lbs Beef Tripe 1lb Ground Chicken 5 lbs Water - as need to incorporate beef stew bones 3lbs Brussel Sprouts .5 lb Butternut Squash 1lb Pink Himalayan Salt- 1 tbl I did cook all of this, although I know that raw is better, and then ground it all together.

RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? She had pancreatitis 2 times and consulted the vet and was told she cannot eat too much oily food.

I adopted 2 unrelated former show Bichons 8 and 10 yrs old 3 mos ago. They were eating grain-free food but I don't know why or for how long. I have tried Nature's Recipe and Nutro Ultra and they both have loose foul stools and they go frequently. If they have always been on grain-free could changing to regular be the reason? They have been to the vet and blood and stool samples came back good. I even tried giving them some vegetables but that was not a pretty sight on the other end.

Hello! Regarding homemade diet for my 15 y/o hyperthyroid and early CKD cat-- 1) Due to hyperthyroidism, is it ok to leave out iodine salt in the recipe? The methimazole keeps the TT4 at around 1.7. 2) Is it true that dark meat has lower phosphorous levels and is a better protein choice than say ground beef? Thank you!

Hey, I wanna make homemade snacks for my pup, because she's allergic to most of the store ones. Is this recipe safe for almost 5 month old GSD puppy? 1 banana, 1/2 cups peanut butter, 1/3 cups chicken stock, 1 cup wheat flour. All baked together. Sorry for silly question, just wanted to make sure they are fine for my baby. :)

OK, what is the vets truth about PEANUT BUTTER? I have always heard NO NUTS! But, yet, peanut butter is OK. Now I just read a recipe for using coconut oil for dogs (which I have read is OK) in a home-made treat calling for CRUNCHY peanut butter. So, please advise me. Peanuts...yea or nay?
