I received the package with a hole, full of ants and costumer service don’t help

we bought this product because my dog is allergic to poultry. Chicken is the second ingredient in the salmon and sweet potato recipe. We have been using this product for about 2 years with no problem and then in November my dog skin started flaking. He also threw up a few times but we did not think it was the food. He has developed hot spots one of them is 4 in in diameter. The other two are two inches in diameter. He has a vet appointment today but this morning we discovered that this food is the reason why he is sick.. They have totally lost our trust and our business. The only reason they would do this is to save on manufacturing costs. It also makes us wonder where they're getting their ingredients?

Healthy mix of good ingredients. Trying to feed our pets better food that gives nutrients they need. Chicken just wasn’t doing it for them and reading about what goes into the chicken meal was gross.

dog food from petco must be super fresh because we’ve bought the same brand(Natures Recipe), type and size from other retailers but our dog never seems interested in eating her food unless we add something to it like eggs, chicken or sweet potatoes. We were running low so I ordered delivery from Petco again same exact brand, flavor and bag size and she devoured her food at mealtime with nothing added to it. We were shocked so we once again purchased from another online pet retailer to test this out and were met with the same issues we originally had. So again ordered from Petco and she was back to eating with no problem. Not sure what the issue as expiration of the food wasn’t the problem but we did notice the coloring of the kibble seemed a bit drier compared to the bags from Petco. So we are sticking with ordering from Petco!!!

My dog all the sudden became sick and was having mucus coated diarrhea and we couldn’t figure out why. His food is different now. It has dark and light brown pebbles in it so it made me start researching. Which I then found many other dogs having issues because of this change in the dog food. Shame on you Natures Recipe!! We will be changing our food today!!

I bought this food on and off for a while. My dog totally agreed with it but the problem I was having is in the last bag had what I think is bits of plastic in the kibble, throughout the whole bag and I bought a 24 lb bag. I also was doing some research when I found these plastic bits inside the kibble and found someone else reviewed this dog food on Chewy and had the same problem so please be careful comes to giving your dog this food since we don't know what it is. I'll be returning it and purchasing a totally different brand

This used to be my go to brand but it appears that my dogs recent suffering from skin allergies may be related to the recent unannounced formula change for this dog food. This food may be risky for pets with food sensitivities.
