Can I give my dog Methocarbamol, Noxox, and Tramadol at the same time? I believe that she is having an IVDD episode and we do not have an ER vet available until tomorrow.
My dog is taking 5mg of prednisone every 12 hours. She has back issues but is much better but the Vet didn’t give weaning instructions and went out of town. Can you give me weaning instructions please? She is also taking methocarbamol so I’d like to get her off of that if you have guidance I’d appreciate it.
Shihtzu 8yo kyphotic and shaking for past 4 days, elevated liver enzymes, low food/water intake, no flinching on abdo palpation, always been sedentary doesn’t play aggressively with toys or go up/down stairs. Vet claims shoulder muscle pain but it no one is convinced. Hydromorphone 2mg injection no improvement, is on prednisone and methocarbamol. Meloxicam discontinued. Previous surgical procedures she was very tolerant of pain never showed signs of shaking crying. Differential diag?
My two year old golden has had a very sudden onset of hind leg weakness beginning yesterday and today cannot move either of his back legs. Cannot sit up or support his weight. No obvious injury. No deformity. Took to the vet last month for lethargy and wasting. Failure to thrive basically. Had X-rays which showed mild-mod hip dysphasia. Some narrowing of spine and disc in back. Also said it could be neuro. I’m thinking it must be neuro since prednisone, gabapentin and methocarbamol only briefly
My 12 year old chihuahua periodically hurts his neck. He must turn it the wrong way or pull it. In the past, my vet has prescribed both Metacam and Gabapentin (not st the same time). They advised I can administer as needed. Which one is better for neck pain?
Dog started limping. I know he is in some pain. Hasn’t cried but panting. Only 1 1/2. 82 pounds. Don’t want him in pain till tomorrow. Can’t afford emergency vet. I have robaxim (methocarbonal) prescribed to me an I give him one and how mich? He was 82 pounds last month. I also can’t lift him to put in car.
Can gabapentin and metacam be used together? My cat is 9lbs 19yr old and was prescribed one drug per different vet. Hes still in pain with only gabap.
Which is better for my dog's arthritis previcox, meloxicam, or galliprant?
hello my border collie is 14 and has had bad hips for 4 years early hours of thursday morning he back end totally went down...vet has proscribed gabapentin ,he has already been on joint supplement and metacam ,would it be safe for him to take both,he had one of these tablets this morning and its knocked him out alday.im worried of over dosing its horrible to see him in such pain
I have rx for both carprofen and gabapentin for my dog. 1st isn't working can I give other 4 hours later. Should I wait till morning?
What painkiller to give for burn in leg
Our dog Rocky, who is a mixed breed of: Black Lab, Rottweiler & German Shepherd Mix. He has been having a hard time getting up from a laying position, he cries out. In the middle of the night last night, he really couldn't get up and gave up, so in a pinch I gave him some baby (low dose) Aspirin (3), and he was able to get up after 15 minutes to get a drink of water. My question is: Is there anything a Vet could prescribe that would ease his pain and help his mobility?
