So sorry that Jupiter is having this problem. You could try a Feliway diffuser and Solliquin chews and see if that helps relieve any stress and make him happier. You could also talk to your vet about trying an anti-anxiety medication, like Trazodone or Prozac to see if that helps. What all do I need for a new kitten
Great question, and congrats on your new kitten! You will need a litter box, unscented litter, a scoop for the litter box, food bowl, water bowl, a kitten formulated food, and kitten safe toys. You may also consider getting him a scratching post. In terms of food, the brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. It's important Luna is feed a kitten formulated food because he needs higher amounts of protein, calcium, and calories than adult cats, and a kitten food will provide that for him. You will also need to take him to the vet to get vaccines, flea and deworming treatments, and heartworm treatment. Good luck, I hope this helps :-)

It's great that you want to be prepared for your new kitten! Aside from the obvious things for the kitten like food and water bowls, I'd recommend a tall scratching post and perch. Two litter boxes in different areas of the house are recommended. Canned kitten food (and canned adult cat food as Myla gets older) is preferred over dry food. Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it,
If the box is not covered I would recommend doing so but otherwise try a wood pellet based litter which can be quite similar in texture; you may need to try a few brands until you find one that is acceptable to Storm!

Congratulations!! I would recommend making sure you get kitten appropriate toys, two litter boxes and kitten food. At 1 month of age I would recommend a wet kitten food. I would also recommend clumping litter for her. You can always get her other fun stuff like a soft bed for her. I would hold off on any treats until she gets used to her new home.
