Training & BehaviorWhy is my cat scooting and PrettyLitter turning blue? Vet needed?
Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Finn. The color blue can indicate an issue but it can mean something else. According to their website, "When PrettyLitter is at the end of its life cycle because the month is expiring or there isn't enough litter in the litter box to absorb urine and evaporate moisture, the urine can pool at the bottom of the litter box becoming concentrated and causing a reaction that changes the bottom of the litter blue."
Given that he is acting 100% fine, it's not an emergency to rush him into a vet, but I would have him seen as soon as you can. I hope this helps!
