So sorry that Jupiter is having this problem. You could try a Feliway diffuser and Solliquin chews and see if that helps relieve any stress and make him happier. You could also talk to your vet about trying an anti-anxiety medication, like Trazodone or Prozac to see if that helps. Below is also a link to a good website that provides information on how to enrich the life of indoor cats to keep them happy and healthy. Good luck! https://www.feliway.com/us#redirected http://www.solliquin.com/ https://indoorpet.osu.edu/cats

Hello. If you have the time, you might want to condition Jupiter to the car. If time is limited, placing him in a carrier ( making sure he is comfortable in a carrier ), putting the carrier on the floor & covering the carrier with a light sheet might soothe his anxiety. Do make sure you have an ID tag on him is case something happens. Thanks for contacting Boop by Petco.
Great question, and congrats on your new kitten! You will need a litter box, unscented litter, a scoop for the litter box, food bowl, water bowl, a kitten formulated food, and kitten safe toys. You may also consider getting him a scratching post. In terms of food, the brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. It's important Luna is feed a kitten formulated food because he needs higher amounts of protein, calcium, and calories than adult cats, and a kitten food will provide that for him. You will also need to take him to the vet to get vaccines, flea and deworming treatments, and heartworm treatment. Good luck, I hope this helps :-)
It's great that you want to be prepared for your new kitten! Aside from the obvious things for the kitten like food and water bowls, I'd recommend a tall scratching post and perch. Two litter boxes in different areas of the house are recommended. Canned kitten food (and canned adult cat food as Myla gets older) is preferred over dry food. Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. Although animals do like company, they also can be very happy as single pets. If Scout seems happy, don't feel pressured to get a second cat. Scout should go to a vet as soon as you can make an appointment as he is likely behind on vaccines/worming if he hasn't had any since you got him. Neuter is recommended at 6 months of age. Otherwise just make sure you have scratching posts, litter tray, food and water. Best of luck with Scout!
