I have a 9 year old Chihuahua/terrier mix. We have been feeding her Iams her whole life but I recently saw an ad claiming that Blue has healthier ingredients. When comparing ingredient labels it does appear that Blue is healthier. so I tried mixing the 2 in my dog's food - she literally separates the two and only eats the Iams! should I keep encouraging Blue or stick with Iams?
We have multiple dogs and we feed some on the IAMS brand and the others on Beneful. All the dogs that eat IAMS have started throwing up and one has bloody stools. what is happening and what do i do.
Which is better iams or royal canin? Please explain, thanks!
Hi. I have a 6 yr old female cat. I have always fed iams adult (dry) She had a muscle problem about a year ago and was on steroids for 2 months and over the last few months she has turned into a house cat. She has put on a lot of weight so i have changed her diet to iams weight control. She has started to get diarrhoea, which normally happens if she eats any other cat food. Could you advise me whether to put her back on iams adult or keep going with the weight loss food to see how she goes. Ty
What is a better puppy food for a basset hound I'm in between iams and instinct?
I give IAMS to my Chi. I noticed that it used "chicken by-product." Any harm in this ingredient?
I have a basset hound 1 year old and an 8 month old lab. we free feed, iams Lamb with brown rice formula, but these two act like they are starving but I go through 40 pounds of food every 11 days. I use Iams with lamb as U also have a 4 yr old SShi tzh that doesn't tolerate beef very well. I need a suggestion please.
Can I mix a little coconut milk with dry Iams puppy food to get my 8 week old pup to eat?
My 7 month old male kitten got into the cabinet and ate a large portion of his Iams dry kitten food, a little bit of Iams adult dry cat food and almost a whole package of cat treats. He has been puking it up since about 7 pm and it hasn't not subsided. He has used the litter box but acts extremely tired and unlike himself. What should I do?
While we were away, our dog ran out of food (Iams minichunks). His sitter picked up a small bag of grain-free food (forget the brand). When we returned we bought him a bag of Pedigree for adult dogs. Now he has been eating grass, vomiting, and his nose is dry to the touch. He has been lethargic and hasn't eaten his meal today. Should we switch him back to what he's used to (Iams minichunks) or just let his system adjust to Pedigree?

My long-haired cat poops out his hair balls. Lately the hairball poops have been loose, very smelly, and hard for him to pass completely without my assistance. The poops get matted up in his hair and make a huge mess. What can I do to help him pass these hairball poops more effectively (I.e. Me not needing to pull them out)? And how can I help him have more firm poops? Thanks! He eats iams dry food and gets iams wet food every few days
