Looking for the right food for your cat? Answer these questions and we’ll help you find the right food for your pet’s health.
Ditch the boring mealtime routine and try building a balanced bowl for your pet.
Cats have specific dietary needs, which may be compromised if you’re unwittingly committing any of the following feeding mistakes.
Cats can be hard to read, so how can you tell if your furry friend is hungry? Look for these signs.
The single pouches are meant to be single serve per cat, and it gives the cat fresh wet food each time as opposed to the larger canned food that must be stored in the fridge if all of it isn't used at once. By a cost comparison, the pouches will be more expensive, so it's fine for you to give Wilkie and Orieo the half a can of the wet food instead. Brands I recommend including Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I hope this helps :-)

Royal canin and hills both make wet kitten food in foil pouches and I have had good feedback on the palatability of both of these. Cats can be very fussy eaters and it is not always easy to 'insist' they eat what we try to give them and I would be most concerned that she is getting the right balance of nutrients for kittens to grow and develop and sufficient fluid intake
I'm sorry Paws has been having urinary trouble! You can do the best of both worlds! Hill's c/d has a canned food version, so you can feed him that. He will get the wet food recommend by the vet, but will also have the special c/d formulation to help prevent further crystals from forming. I hope this helps :-)
I feel like Wellness fits all of those categories pretty well. I guess affordable is a very relative term, but if you are only feeding one cat, one of the large cans should last you a bit. This is what I feed to my three adult cats and they all love it. You will definitely need to go to a pet food store, tractor supply, or an online supplier to obtain this food rather than a supermarket usually. Hill's also makes pretty good quality (has a grain free line) food, but I don't think their wet food is smooth like you requested. Anyway, hope this helps!
I really like Hill's Science Diet, Iams (very inexpensive), or Purina for better options that are much better than Fancy Feast. It is good that you want to go with a wet food, since cats are not big water drinkers. This will help promote good kidney and urinary bladder health. You can also mix in the wet food with dry to help stretch out the wet food and make it even more affordable! IF you are going to transition her to the new food, please make sure to do this over the course of a week to help avoid an upset stomach. Here is a website link on how to do this successfully! https://www.hillspet.com/cat-care/nutrition-feeding/switching-cat-food Best wishes with your furry friend Luna and thanks for visiting Boop by Petco! Take care
