I bought this after reading many positive reviews. However, my 3 cats hate this food. no one will touch it, so I spent more than $40.00 for nothing. I also bought this in another flavor, seafood, my cats won't eat it either. So far almost $80 in food my cats won't eat.

We appreciate your feedback. We could not tell by your post if you had done a gradual transition or not. We generally suggest doing a 7 day transition as this allows them time to get used to the new flavor and ingredients. This can also help ward off against any sort of tummy trouble. Not a favorite for my cats. They lick the gravy off and leave the morsels behind. I have tried mashing with a fork but they must not like the taste or texture.

My vet recommended this line of wet cat food for my first cat, who had some digestion problems, and for my second cat, a rescue who had some dental issues. (I used to feed my cats Fancy Feast via Amazon's subscribe and save, but my first cat got got ill from one of their flavors of fish. My vet informed me that the Fancy Feast line, despite its lofty brand name, is kind of like the McDonald's of cat food.) The Hill’s Science Diet line is a superior product (unlike other brands that may seem impressive with their myriad flavors but are actually loaded with fillers and upset a cat's digestion). My cats enjoy it and don't ever get sick from it. I limit them to two flavors: chicken and tuna. I also get them the HSD dental dry food (which requires a prescription) and another one of HSD's chicken-flavored dry foods. Yes, the Hill's Science Diet product is pricey, but it's not the most expensive brand on the market, and you can try out a pouch to make sure you cat likes it before you buy more. Furthermore, Petco offers a discount if you do repeat delivery. Thanks, Hill's Science Diet and Petco!
