I am trying to help a 13-year-old cat put on weight. He has never liked wet food but I remember helping an older cat with health problems to get some calories by feeding A/D wet food. Is there a similar super palatable food that is not vet prescribed that I might try? My cat's health is good. Recent blood work by my vet showed not problems at all. Thanks.
Can you please recommend a diet for a cat with Feline pancreatitis, currently feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Sensitivity Control Wet food. He only eats wet food.
What’s the best cat food I can give to my cat? She’s a Bombay and is 2 years, 5 months and she really likes chicken and turkey flavors. I tried Rachel Ray, natural balance and she dosent like there wet food for some reason?
My 15 year old cat has stage 2 kidney disease. She shows no changes in her personality or daily habits. She will not eat any of the renal wet prescription diet food that our vet has suggested. What would be the best brand of store shelf wet food for her? I have been reading labels for high protein and moisture, good Omega 3, low phosphorus and alot of brands seem to be about the same. She is a fussy eater.
Our cat has been on Hills r/d for 2 years and has lost 2 pounds. Is that healthy to be for that long?
Royal canin or earthborn?? Thos are the choices i can buy from now
which foods are best for dog with allergies and an enlarged heart
Hi I currently shop on Chewy.com for all my pet needs, they’re great by the way!! I’m really searching for a different flavor royal canine wet dog food and royal canine doesn’t have much of a selection. So I also saw broth bowls food topper. I would really appreciate it if you can just give me your analysis on this product and if you think I should buy it? Thank you and merry Christmas Diana
My dog that I adopted from a shelter was spayed about a week ago she is slightly anemic and they believe it's caused from her surgery I would like to know what kind of food I should feed her to help bring it back to normal levels she's on Merrick dry food and refrigerated kibble that is organic with chicken, egg, beef, spinach, and other stuff?
I have been wondering this for a while now. But I recently (Dec 5 2018) adopted a lovely 1 year old male cat who I was told weighted 10lbs when i got him. Now they did tell me his food (hill science diet adult 1-6) but not how much he was eating. So I followed the guidelines on the bag which said 1/2 cup for a 10lbs cat. He always goes crazy at meal time so I'm worried am I underfeeding him? Also he looks like he's lost weight but I also don't have a scale to weight him and brushed recently
Sorry I forgot to ask, Regarding kovu having decreased appetite and losing weight, how much should a 1 year old cat eat? He used to eat 5 or more ounces wet food and 1/2 cup dry food a day. With his decreased appetite he eats no Dry food and anywhere from no wet food, to 1 and 1/2 ounces twice a day. The most he’s eaten since he’s been losing weight was yesterday and he ate 2 1/2 ounces wet food twice
I'm looking for a high quality limited ingredient diet with sodium levels between 0.3-0.5% dry matter basis maximum. Can someone recommend a brand to me? thanks!
