I have a pet rat and I have tried many different wood stick chewing products. She will chew on them only when they are fresh and she only chews very little. Her main diet is Higgins Sunburst Rat and Mouse food which has hard nuts and other foods. Will that be enough to keep her teeth trimmed down? Do you have any suggestions? She tends to be a little picky.
Griffon was a 4 yr old Scarlett chested parrot that suddenly passed away in the night. Findings by pathologist in a necropsy was renal gout.Excess protein or calcium can cause it. He and the cage mate are on Mazuri small bird diet and chop (veggies, grains, and Higgins vita seed mixed together). One cup of the seed is mixed with about 8 cups of veggies. Does this diet sound appropriate or is something adding in too much of the previous listed vitamins.
what brews would you say he is ?
holds his perch and flaps his wings hard enough to shake the stand and shout in high pitch he is a indian ringneck
Rescue dog with three classes under his belt including canine good citizen. Home is Dad, Mom, adult daughter and teenage son. Mom: I am dog's favorite person, supposedly, but he doesn't cuddle with me like everyone else. He likes it in my husband's and my bedroom but he gets under the bed on my side and stays there... Unless my husband gets in bed, then he'll come out from under the bed to cuddle with him. When I call him over to cuddle with me it's back under the bed. What's wrong??
She is picky in her food

I have been useing cocnut oil on my dogs and bathing them with mainge shampoo and will the smother the mites if i keep doing the every 2 days?
I have concerns about my cat's dental hygiene. He is 5 years old & on a wet/dry food diet. I have noticed that he isn't able to chew his food so he swallows whole occasionally. I've also noted that after he finishes his food sometimes he "gulps." I have tried cleaning his teeth many times w/many different approaches, but he will never let me get close enough to clean them properly. Should I be worried about Dental Diesease? Is there a place I can take him to get his teeth professionally clean?
My cat came inside today and was not walking normal, he was limping and was in pain, i picked him up and looked at his leg, he cant put any weight on his leg at all so when you pick him up it goes limp or just hangs there. He still lets people pet him and is still very friendly, the worst part if rught now there are no vets open near me as of now since its tje weekend of a holiday. What should i do?
