Best flea/ parasite pill for small dog?

Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.

Is there anything for ant bites for my dog? He's a Rat-chihuahua.

I bought the cherry kind because the only other flavor was Grape and grapes aren’t good for dogs. Although, the cherry flavor has red dye 30 and 44. Is it okay to give my pup this 2 times over the next two days without affecting her?
