Remi was prescribed clavamox i was looking online and found amoxicillin trihydrate and clavulanate potassium for half price is this the same as clavamox from everything that I have read it says it is. Remi was prescribed clavamox 375 mg I found amoxicillin trihydrate and clavulanate potassium tablets fom Walmart pet RX for $39 compared to clavamox 375mg for $99

Two questions. First is clavamox oral and clindamycin injections safe to use together? I have a 4 week kitten that was on doxy liquid oral and clindamycin injections. The doxy made her have no appetite so I switched to just clavamox. However I think the clin injections were helping and am wondering if I can continue to use those with clavamox or if those react badly?

What antibiotic is used to treat a bacterial infection from dogs saliva? I have been to the vet and they prescribed clavamox and baytril, but they were shooting in the dark. Last Monday vet gave Bella clavamox for "subjectively" enlarged lymph nodes after dental. Was on clindacure for 7 days, vet wanted to try liquid clavamox. After first dose Bella was not herself, not interested in treats and was coughing and wheezing after. I stopped and haven't given since. No more issues at all. (Did tell receptionist when called to check on Bella). Is it worth trying the clavamox once more or just keep her off? Also, how long is that mixture good for in fridge?

My cat was recently diagnosed with a head cold. The vet prescribed him Clavamox. I was just informed that Clavamox is an antibacterial drug that will not fight off viruses. I have already gave my cat two doses. The first dose seemed to help him, and then he didn’t get the second dose until just now because he was refusing to eat.
