Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think the Purina Pro Plan diets are very good and also affordable. Both dry and wet diets are equally good in general especially for younger cats. I prefer wet food in older cats when I am concerned about kidney disease just to increase the water content in the diet. Good luck and have a great day!

Hi Ken, Snoops is adorable! I presume that you are finding the dandruff along his back when you are combing him based on your picture. If you think it is due to dry skin, I have a few suggestions for you. First, cats tend to be chronically dehydrated on a dry food diet, so you could consider increasing the amount of canned food in his diet to try to increase the moisture in his diet. Second, you could add a fish oil to his diet to increase the amount of omega 3 fatty acids in his diet. I like Wellactin ( http://www.welactin.com/cat ) for cats. You could also consider moisturizing sprays, but most cats do not like those, so those are not my top choice. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

I suggest you use essential 6 supplement topically (it is spot-on) and an oral supplement like Wellactin. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=119092 https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=101959 Cats do not take to bathing well. What you can do is use a leave on mousse that is for seborrhea (dandruff). You can use it twice a week until the dandruff decreases and then you can go to once a week. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=117952

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are diets that are more inexpensive. I like Purina Pro Plan shredded blends. It is very good in terms of nutrition and relatively inexpensive. Good luck and have a good day!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Pocky! I would be sure he doesn't have fleas or a skin infection. If he does treat the fleas as that will relieve the scratching. If the has red crusty bumps he may have an allergy to the food or environment or a skin infection. If that is the case it is best to see a vet. Otherwise I really like water-less shampoo to clean animals that can't be bathed. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/furminator-my-furst-waterless-kitten-shampoo Have a good day!
