I have an older cat 15 years old female and drinking less than normal water that I change daily and constipated and have switched to dry food with no grains and one small can of wet per day. Looking for constipation solution when more water not an option.
Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.
Need gromming store for my cat
My cat poops in the bath tub. I tried 2 litter boxes. I tried keeping water in the bath tub (which made mold). Even with water in the bath tub, she stopped using 2 litter boxes and started dropping her poop right out side the box. People have suggested changing the litter (World's Best). What would be the best litter to use. She is 7 and may have chronic pancreatitis. Thank you.
my 1 year old cat spray my and my boyfriends laundry baskets. Later on, I found poop in my basket. These baskets are close to my bedroom closet. Factors: this afternoon, my boyfriend and I did a deep clean of the litter boxes. We emptied each hooded box and sprayed and wiped down every side. I have 3 cats. 2 are 15 yes old. The other is 7 yr old. My older cats are peeing behind the couch. I have used Miracle products, scrubbed and put soda down then use brush to work soda in. Even with this method they still go behind the coach. I clean their litter boxes 2 times s day. How can I keep my older cats from peeing on the carpet?
My male cat is almost 14. I know he is starting kidney problems due to the extra water he drinks at this point. and a bit thinner. lots of energy still. I read they need at least 50% protein, I give him wet and dry which i know is not good, but lots of wet and freeze dried chicken too, vit with dig enzymes. Can you suggest the best Wet high protein food and anything else from Petco?
My cat loves peeing on my blankets. If they are folded, she won't do it. but if its laying on the couch kinda messy, she will. She has a clean litter box, it is the litter robot... I got that and it helped immensely with the peeing on carpet. But now I think she just literally enjoys peeing on the blankets. it is because she can "dig" at the blanket when its not folded? maybe she just enjoys it and its not actually a problem.
