Hi, is it necessary or benificial to add water to dry kibble and soak it before feeding? Will this enable them to digest the kibble better? I heard this is helpful and comparable to feeding a canned diet. I would add 1/2 cup per 1/3 cup of kibble. This would make it resemble a canned diet of 80% moisture. Is this a good idea? Also, do you recommend a slow feeder bowl for fast eaters? Or is it ok to use a regular bowl? Mine eats her serving in under a minute (1/3 cup kibble)
I feed them in separate bowls on each side of the fireplace. They are grazers eat some leave etc. I put morning portion in their bowl and then later if empty evenings. I’d like to them to eat all their dry food in two meals and finish in a timely manner. How to train them to do this without making them get too skinny? And how many cups should I feed them? The bag says 2 1/2-3 but they won’t do that. Younger dog is 8 months They eat Pure Balance Trout n Lentils mixed w/
My dog keeps eating to fast. She is only 3.5 pounds, but she was choking so I made her drink some water out of a bottle. But how can I make her stop choking and eat slower??
I have a 6 month old female German Shepard mix, she doesn't use her tongue at all. Not to drink, eat or to give kisses. She has never stuck it out of her mouth. Well she eats really fast and I don't want her to get bloat. But she won't eat out of the slow feeding bowls because she won't stick her tongue out her mouth. I've tried the big rock in the bowl she still scarfes her food down, what can I do?
My puppy has been playing with his food bowl and water bowl for a while now, he broke his first bowls. I bought him new ones, but he just keeps on playing with them. Water is clean and he likes his food, so I don't see a problem. How can I make him stop?
My dog is a 1 year old chihuahua. When she is eating kibble, it’s fine, but when I’m feeding her treats or something, she doesn’t chew and just swallows. I’ve tried giving her a little at a time and waiting for a while and then giving her another one, but she still doesn’t chew. I don’t know how to fix this problem. I’ve seen dog bowls online that help dogs eat slowly, but I don’t need them because she doesn’t chew when I give her treats when training.
When should I feed my 7 1/2 senior dog food
My puppy is a maltipoo she is about 2lbs. She is 3 months old. I am trying to put her on a schedule for feeding for 4 times per day but she she doesn’t eat all of her food. She sometimes will eat the same bowl for the whole day. What should I do? Also how much food should I give her for each feeding?
My puppy usually eats breakfast (1/3 cup) at 4:00 am and 4:00 pm. Sometimes when we put the dinner out he does not eat. We have been leaving the food out for longer than the 15 min as we noticed he goes back to it an hour or so later to finish the meal. Is it bad to leave it out that long? Will it get him off his schedule? ... we just want to make sure he is eating as he only has 2/3 cup per day
How much food do I feed a 3 and 1/2 month lab puppy? Her puppy Food bag (natural balance) says 2-3 cups, but at the end of the day she has a big belly
What to do when my puppy is too much food
Hi can a 4m old pup be fed only two times in a day ? One time Half cup dog food and one time Boiled chicken and vegetables with rice ? Or should I switch to two times dog food. He usually eats thrice but I'm trying to get his potty routine kinda fixed. So is it fine if I feed him at 8AM and 7PM everyday. He is only 12kg / 26.4lbs .. pls tell according to the cup the amount to feed .. I can't figure it out
