Is this ok for puppies? She is a small breed border collie mix and 9 weeks old?
- This is the best dog food I have ever found for my two tiny chihuahuas who have been characteristically pickier eaters than any breed! It is the only food that my doggies have never tired of and they have been healthy andenjoying it for five years now! I think it would be satisfactory to feed your 9 week old pups, but you should check with a vet to make sure it satisfies their nutritional requirements.

How does this food effect their bowels? My shichon has been on Blue freedom chicken recipe for small breed for a year. Loves it and his bowels are consistant and has never had diarrhea. Switching due to reported Lead in his current Blue Freedom food.

Is this dog food high in calcium and does it cause yeast in dogs?
- My dog has the same problem but this brand dog food has not caused the yeast to fire up in her ears. I have found that dog food with brewers yeast or selenium yeast always cause the yeast to build up in her ears real bad. She really likes this food too. I have a lab, shar-pai, chow mix with tiny little ears that fold over.

What is the best dog food and treats for a small breed with a sensitive stomach
My 7 lb poodle mix eats Nature's Instinct raw frozen, or cans (beef). We switch it up, as she gets bored. She gets a teenie Greenie daily, tiny milkbones (natural trail mix), and as a big treat, Merrick's lung treats. Every few months we go through a bout of diarrhea that lasts 3 days, and she then gets Royal Canin low fat gastro can, or ID gastro (as Royal Canin is not shipping right now). Could this be the Greenies? Vet thinks maybe. Metronidzole 50mg does the trick. Your thoughts?

What is the best dry dog food for the first adult dog food switching from puppy grain-free food to adult dry dog food with grains in it for the boston terrier breed? no health issues and no allergies nothing like that. Eating Castor and Pollux organic dry puppy food right now transitioning to Hill's Science Diet Adult Light Small Bites Dry Dog Food. The vet said I had to switch to a food that has grains in it. Second meal with science diet in it really gassing alot more then usually.
