Hello, I have read that due to Boston Terrier's short coat and dryer skin, that it's important that I take care of her skin and coat by using a high quality shampoo with a high quality conditioner in it that both have the best and right ingredients in them "specifically for a Boston". Sophie was just a year old. She is a tiny cocker spaniel (18 pds) and she is brown and white. She has developed dry skin with flaking on her brown fur only. It is softer and finer than her white fur. How do I treat this? Dandruff shampoo? I presently bath her with baby bath followed by a conditioner. What should I bath her with? anything additional ? I give her dog probiotic in her food as well as omega capsule in her food. Food is Pure Balance from Walmart-1st product salmon,peas. No grain.
