Incomplete, several issues to be aware of

When I got this extension it was missing the fixings; clearly they had been pulled out of one of the extenders I had ordered, the other two were complete . I called Petco and waited almost 10 days for the replacement parts. However the fixing were the wrong size. At this point I have gone to a Home repair store and have repaired it myself. Very disappointing service in that regard. Further I calculated the length of this extension from the product description and ordered three extensions to go along with the main gate. However, the length of the extension is not accurate as you have to overlap with each other piece by several inches which left me several inches short. If I had known this I would have ordered a different extender. The product itself is fine, if a bit flimsy, as I have extended it out as far as I can. Ergo my poor review relates to inaccurate product description and

No, I do not recommend this product.

How does the extension attach to the gate?

    The Step Over Gate is adjustable width from 28 inches to 51 3/4 inches. Each extension is fixed width and adds 22 1/4 inches to the gate. Hope this helps!

    The shipping dimensions of the Step Over Gate box are 29" x 21" x 3" and it weighs 8lbs. Shipping dimensions for the Step Over Gate EXTENSION box are 29" x 22" x 2" and it weighs 5lbs.
