extension to the Cardinal Gate

So far it's been terrible. There are NO instructions, nothing other than a parts drawing so we are at a loss as to how to proceed. We have used these gates before and like them but we needed another one and have to use an extension to make it fit the opening. This is frustrating and upsetting. I do not recomend this to others. If anyone has ever used the extensions before we would appreciate your input. If we can't get this figured out it is GOING BACK.

No, I do not recommend this product.

how is the extension attached to the gate?
